Where did I come from Mommy?

A couple weeks ago Michaela asked if we found her in the forest when she was a baby and if that is how she became our baby.  I laughed and told her that she came from my tummy.  I explained that God put her in my tummy and then when she grew big enough she came out and that is how she became my baby.  She said, "Oh!  So you found me in the forest when I was a baby and then put me in your tummy and then later I came out and became your baby?!"  The imaginations of those little ones!

Ava-isms ...

After many requests I have decided to start blogging the interesting things that my children, in particular Ava, say. We all know that children have no boundaries when it comes to words ... They speak what comes to their mind and have no regrets. We as parents either laugh hysterically or quickly try to divert the conversation after a crazy sentence. Hope you enjoy these short Ava-ism's (and words of Mac), if you will ... I know that as their mother, I get a kick out of these girls daily!

Some of the most recent:

Ava: Mommy did you know that when deers grow up they become mooses?!

A conversation between Ava and her friend Leah:
Leah: I love chicken, my daddy grills chicken and I love it! My daddy is the master of the grill!
Ava: Well MY daddy is the master of the bed!
Mommy: Ummmm ... let's try to think of something else nice to say about daddy! ????!!!! (Perhaps she was speaking of him taking so many naps???)

Mommy: Michaela how did you get to be so beautiful?
Michaela: Because Mommy, you ate popcorn! (duh!)

Mommy: Michaela why did you pee in your pants again?!
Michaela: Because I love you Mommy!
